I know this sounds crazy but we finally know when the first use of the term "America" came from. On this map we are actually the 1 spot. Obviously not the correct shape but we must remember that explorers thought for the life of them that what they had landed on was the farthest reaches of Asia and the Pacific Ocean wasn't even found/recorded till 6 years later.
